List of eligible medical expenses
The following expenses may give rise to a medical tax credit:
- Professional services
- Lab tests
- Dental services
- Hospital services
- Medication, pharmaceutical products and other substances
- Medical treatments
- Equipment and other devices
- Premiums paid for medical insurance, including travel insurance
(as well as the amounts not covered by them)
- Moving expenses (for a person with a mobility impairment moving to a more accessible dwelling)
- Fees paid to a nursing home or for an attendant in your home, school or workplace
